Ibon Areso, the new Chairman of the Zorrotzaurre Management Commission

In the meeting of the Zorrotzaurre Management Commission held this morning, Ibon Areso was named as the new chairman.

Areso, until now a board member, occupies the position left vacant after the death, last March 20th, of the previous Mayor of Bilbao, Iñaki Azkuna.

As a consequence of the naming of the new chairman, Eduardo María Maiz, the councillor responsible for Urbanism in the Bilbao City Council was appointed to the board of the Commission there by completing the municipal quota on the board.
